TOSS Update: AFG vs BAN Test

*TOSS UPDATE: Bangladesh vs Afghanistan Test*

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first against Afghanistan.

The match is a one-off Test in Abu Dhabi. Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto said he wants to bat first. This is a good decision because in the last 10 Tests at this ground, 9 captains also chose to bat first. Only 1 team lost after batting first here.

*Bangladesh Team News:*

Bangladesh made some changes. Ebadot Hossain is playing in place of Shoriful Islam. Shoriful took 7 wickets for 49 runs in the last Test against Australia. Off-spinner Nayeem Hasan is also back in the team. Taskin Ahmed is rested for this Test.

*Bangladesh Playing XI:*

Tanzid Hasan, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haque, Najmul Hossain Shanto (captain), Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das (wk), Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nayeem Hasan, Taijul Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Ebadot Hossain

*Afghanistan Team News:*

Afghanistan picked more batters. Shahidullah will bat at No. 7. Ismat Alam and Yamin Ahmadzai are the all-rounders. Sediqullah Atal and Abdul Malik will open the batting. Rahmat Shah is the new captain.

*Afghanistan Playing XI:*

Sediqullah Atal, Abdul Malik, Rahmat Shah (captain), Hashmatullah Shahidi, Ikram Alikhil, Zia Akbar, Shahidullah, Yamin Ahmadzai, Ismat Alam, Qais Ahmed, Mohammad Saleem
